Carbon Copy Printer  Print to multiple trays and multiple printers page by page or full files

• Ok presuming you've just installed Carbon Copy Printer, you should have a icon on your desktop with the Carbon Copy Printer Logo, like the below left screen shot.

•  the 'Carbon Copy Printer'  is the main program that does the print processing and setups, double click to open program.

Carbon Copy Printing on Two Trays or more

• When you select the printer from the "Print to Printers:" dropdown box it will automatically populate the "Trays:" edit box with all the trays e.g.

• In the "Trays:" edit box, edit the Trays text to the Trays you require to print to and the order e.g. Tray 1, Tray 2, Tray 3    or e.g. Tray 2, Tray 1 as in the above first screenshot.
   
• Select Page by Page in the "Print Method:" dropdown and close the application,  then print to the "Carbon Copy Printer" printer driver and it will print out one page at a time to e.g. 2 Trays in sequence on the Physical printer specified e.g. Xerox WorkCentre 5855 PS
  
  
   

Carbon Copy Printing to More than one Printer and Two Trays or more
 

• When you select the printer from the "Print to Printers:" dropdown box it will automatically populate the "Trays:" edit box with all the trays as above, for multiple printers enter e.g. Xerox WorkCentre 5855 PS, VersaLink C400 PS in the "Print to Printers:" edit box like below screenshot.
  
  In the example screenshot below:-
           Tray 2, Tray 1  is for the Xerox WorkCentre 5855 PS printer
           Drawer 1, Drawer 2  is for the VersaLink C400 PS printer
  
  The software will print to the order of the first printer, printer trays, then the next, the | pipe symbol tells the software that the Tray information after this is for the next printer above.

  Full File Printing to More than one Printer to Default Trays
   

  • Select the first printer from the "Print to Printers:" dropdown box, Enter the name of the other printers to print to with a comma separation e.g.
    Xerox WorkCentre 5855 PS, VersaLink C400 PS, HP 5000 PS
     

  • In the "Trays:" blank it out
     

  • Select "Print Method:" Full File
     

  
  
   

  Full File Printing to two Printers to Tray 1 for Printer 1 and Tray 2 for Printer 2
   

  • Select the first printer from the "Print to Printers:" dropdown box, Enter the name of the other printers to print to with a comma separation e.g.
    Xerox WorkCentre 5855 PS, VersaLink C400 PS
     

  • In the "Trays:" edit box enter Tray 1 | Tray 2
     

  • Select "Print Method:" Full File

  
  

Full File Printing to two Printers to Tray 1 for Printer 1 and Tray 1 & 2 for Printer 2
 

• Select the first printer from the "Print to Printers:" dropdown box, Enter the name of the other printers to print to with a comma separation e.g.
  Xerox WorkCentre 5855 PS, VersaLink C400 PS
   

• In the "Trays:" edit box enter Tray 1 | Tray 1, Tray 2
   

• Select "Print Method:" Full File
